On July 9th, 2011 Derek Jeter feasted on a David Price 3-2 offering, knocking the ball into the left-center field stands for a home run. It was his 3,000th career hit, only the 28th player in history to reach that goal and the first to achieve the milestone exclusively as a member of the Yankees. This is the left cleat that Tampa Bay pitcher David Price was wearing as he had his pitch hit into the history books. The blue and black Nike cleat shows good game use with the residue of Yankee Stadium mound turf still clinging to the bottom. Price has signed and dated the cleat's toe and noted on the white Nike swoosh "I GAVE UP DJ's 3K" in blue marker. A Steiner hologram is affixed to the heel. Signed Letter of Authenticity from David Price and Steiner.
