In his first Olympic Games, Kobe, as could be expected, simply dominated the competition. In the final game the NBA superstar scored 20 points, 17 coming in the final quarter to help defeat Spain for the Gold. This is the badge worn by Kobe during the Games and would have been used to gain access to the team's housing, meal areas and the games themselves. The 4 1/2" x 7" laminated official athletes badge features a color ID photo of Bryant in uniform along with bar code and credential information. The badge has been connected by 2 chrome rings to 2 additional credential upgrade laminated badges and attached to a yellow Olympic Games lanyard. Bryant has attached 9 metal collectors’ pins to the lanyard making this a very nice looking display piece. The badges and lanyard show light wear from use and the colors are bright and attractive.
