Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1990, Margaret Thatcher was the longest serving British PM in the 20th century and is the only woman to serve in that role. Known as the "Iron Lady" due to her uncompromising approach towards politics and leadership her close relationship with Ronald Reagan was instrumental in the fall of the Berlin Wall.
