The Minnesota Twins went into the '87 World Series as the underdog. Registering the absolute worst win-loss record for a series participant, the Twins defeated the Cardinals in seven suspenseful games. The World Championship ring commissioned to commemorate the stunning victory featured the teams "M" logo encrusted in diamonds mounted on a blue stone, circled by the words "TWINS WORLD CHAMPIONS". Two more elusive than a 1987 World Championship rings is the matching women's pendant. Given to wives and girlfriends, this 14K gold pendant features the same top design as the Twins championship ring worn by the players and trot office personnel. The "M" Jostens logo and "14K" is stamped on the back. This attractive pendant measures about 1" by 3/4" and is suspended from a gold rope chain. Comes with a blue presentation box.
