While he made quite a career as a Pro Bowl quarterback in the NFL and a six-time MVP in the Canadian Football League, Doug Flutie first burst into American consciousness during his days at Boston College. His 1984 “Hail Mary” touchdown pass against Miami is still considered one of the great moments in college football history, and this practice jersey is a rare keepsake from his tenure as an Eagle. It features heavy maroon mesh construction with gold number 22 screened on front and back and “FLUTIE” across the shoulders. It shows obvious use by the Heisman Trophy winner, displays no tags or sizing info but measures approximately 22” across the torso. A unique item from an American sports icon.
