Derek Jeter’s rise through the ranks of baseball’s immortals continued in his final season, with the Yankee shortstop moving up on the all-time hits list. On April 6, 2014, he stroked a pair of singles against the Toronto Blue Jays to move into 8th overall, passing Milwaukee Brewer standout Paul Molitor. This ball, signed by Jeter, was in play in the top of the third inning of that contest, when Blue Jays hurler Drew Hutchison yielded a third inning single to tie Molitor’s career mark. Just one inning later he would top it, with another single to right field off Hutchison. This Official Major League (Selig) ball shows great game use including clay from the Rogers Centre. Comes with hologram and Certificate of Authenticity from Steiner Sports.
Derek Jeter Game Used Autographed Ball – 4-16-14, Career Hit 3,319 (8th All Time) (MLB Authenticated/Steiner)
