This curious object of interest is a battery operated toy/game with movable parts. A tin batsmen stands waiting to take a whack at a ball loaded on an arching spring loaded mechanism set into motion by an on/off lever. The moving components are mounted on a tin box containing names of post 1958 major league baseball teams on three sides. Champion All Stars is printed on the remaining panel and the underside of the box contains a chamber for a D-size battery. Toy will actually work with a battery and contains the balls inside, but functions more as a period- piece suitable for display.
