As Derek Jeter moved closer to the end of his career while the 2014 season progressed there were still a few mileposts to pass along the way: At Baltimore on August 11th, Jeter knocked a double off Orioles starter Bud Norris for the 3,431st hit of his career moving him past legendary Hall of Fame shortstop Honus Wagner, placing him sixth on the all-time list. Jeter signed this limited edition MLB Authentic (EK348981) Rawlings Official Alan H. Selig Major League ball on its sweet spot in blue ball point ink with a “16/18” inscription. Ball shows moderate game us with a hard red dirt scuff along the seams to the right of the Official Major League Baseball lettering and contains an Orioles 60th anniversary commemorative logo; comes with Steiner Sports Memorabilia COA and hologram sticker.
