With only 51 games remaining in his 20th and final season, Derek Jeter smacked this baseball for a single off Texas Rangers starter Nick Martinez in the top of the first inning on July 29, 2014 for the 3,421st hit of his career. This MLB Authenticed (HZ510284) Rawlings Official Alan H. Selig ball shows moderate game use with a prominent red clay dirt clog along the seams and a solid blue ink transfer that may have been caused by Jeter’s knock. A nice piece of history from Jeter's final season.
