April 7, 2014 marked the end of an era in Yankees history: it was the final time Derek Jeter took the field on Opening Day. The Captain went 1 for 4 with a double and run scored as the Yanks beat Baltimore 4-2 to kick off the 2014 season. This Rawlings Official Major League Baseball was used during that bittersweet last Opening Day. It shows good game use with turf stains and the discoloration natural to a game used ball. The ball has the custom 2014 Opening Day logo and has been signed right below by Jeter in blue ball point. The ball has been marked "13/22" and holograms from MLB (HZ 102740) and Steiner (215853) are affixed.
