Compiling a .407 batting average with 11 hits in 27 at-bats, to bring his World Series hit total to an even 50. Good enough for 5th place on the all-time World Series hits list, behind other Yankees legends like Yogi Berra 71, Mickey Mantle 59, and Joe DiMaggio 54, Frankie Frisch ranks 3rd with 58. This Rawlings MLB Authentic (LH428513) Official Allan H. Selig 2009 World Series ball was hit by Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Pedro Feliz. An infield single off Yankees starter Andy Pettitte in the bottom of the fourth inning of the Yankees 8-5 win. It is signed by Jeter in blue ball point ink on a side panel under the gold embossed 2009 MLB World Series logo. It shows moderate game use with a hard red dirt scuff close to the Official Ball 2009 World Series lettering.
