2009 was the fifth World Series Championship for Derek Jeter, as the New Yorkers soundly defeated the Philadelphia Phillies. The Yankees captain hit a stunning .407 in the 6 game series which was the first Fall Classic held in the New Yankee Stadium. This ball was used by Phillies pitcher Chan Ho Park while pitching to Brett Gardner in the bottom half of the 8th inning of Game 5. The official Rawlings ball carries the special gold 2009 World Series logo and shows great game use with scuffing and Yankee Stadium turf marks. Derek Jeter has signed the ball just below the World Series logo in blue ball point. Holograms from Steiner and MLB LH 773029 are affixed to the ball.
