While the modern bobblehead remains a favorite contemporary souvenir for baseball fans, this original 1960’s vintage pair of the Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris figures comes from the original White Base baseball series of 1961-1963; it remains in pristine condition. More a work of art than a simple souvenir, bobbleheads like the ones offered here are seriously sought after collectibles. Measuring 7 ¼ inches high, this pair of flawless pieces depicts the mythic “M & M Boys” in the prime of their careers, as one of baseball’s most fearsome tandems. Ceramic molds manufactured in Japan, each figure contains a facsimile signature at its base and the pair is depicted in their Yankees home pin stripes with happy youthful smiles on their faces.
