Fans of baseball’s “Iron Man” will enjoy this lot of two jerseys autographed by Baltimore Orioles legend Cal Ripen, Jr. The shirts themselves are unused identical tops from the MLB Authentic Collection, manufactured by Majestic. Each is in home white with button-front, classic Orioles script logo across the chest as well as uniform numbers on front and back, all in orange tackle twill with black trim. The left shoulders bear a commemorative Cal Ripken Jr. 1981-2001 patch, and an American flag patch is stitched above the names on back. The Hall of Fame third baseman has signed each in blue below the “O” on the jersey’s front, under which is written “1983 & 91 AL MVP.” The autographs are clearly legible, however there is some bleeding of the ink into the white fabric displayed on each. Both come with original tags and MLB hologram.
