The second in a run of three consecutive World Series titles, 1999 marked one of the Bronx Bombers’ most dominant postseason performances of all-time. The Yankees lost just once in the playoffs on their way to a sweep of the Atlanta Braves in the Fall Classic. This sweep followed on the heels of the prior year’s sweep and the final four victories in 1996 to give this Yankee franchise 12 consecutive World Series games won! All the notables are here: Joe Torre, Derek Jeter, Andy Pettitte, David Cone, Mariano Rivera, Roger Clemens, Bernie Williams, Tino Martinez and Jorge Posada… and as a nod to the lasting power of this edition of Yankees dynasty each man has listed the other Championship teams they were on up to that 99 season. Each of the 30 players has signed in blue Sharpie down each side of this road Jersey. The jersey itself is a Russell size 48 Jeter model, set up for the World Series with the custom patch on the right sleeve and the Joe DiMaggio memorial band and number "5" on the left. Each player with the exception of Jeter and Martinez has inscribed the jersey with the years they won a World Series in the Bronx.
