One of the NHL’s greatest stars Bobby ‘”the Golden Jet,” Hull jumped leagues to the rival World Hockey Association’s Winnipeg Jets in 1972 when the rest of the league’s owners agreed to contribute to his unprecedented $1 million 10-year contract to lure him away from the NHL and provide the new league with instant credibility. Hull immediately became the WHA’s biggest star and led the Jets to two AVCO Cups (1976 and 1978) during his time with the team enjoying his best season in 1974-1975 when he set a new professional record scoring 77 goals. Hull signed this Official WHA Winnipeg Jets game used puck in bright silver sharpie with a “Game Used 1975 #9” inscription. Puck shows light game use and comes with PSA/DNA COA #W26314.
