Seldom has a player burst on the big league scene with such electrifying intensity as all-time stolen base king and Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson. This huge 28” x 40” black and white photo of Henderson sliding past out-stretched New York Yankees catcher Thurman Munson at Yankee stadium in one of Rickey’s early rookie games can barely contain the “Man of Steal” who looks like he will continue to slide right out of the frame. Henderson signed the photo in big sweeping, bold black sharpie with a “7/20/79 Run #6” inscription which was just Rickey’s 24th game in the big leagues. Twenty four years later Henderson would score his major league record 2,295th run.
