Arguably the greatest power forward to play the game, Karl Malone was a two-time NBA MVP named one of the 50 greatest players in league history in 1996. The Mailman, inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010, sported this eye-catching purple Jazz Road Jersey with its elaborate mountain scene backdrop during Utah’s 1997-98 season. The jersey features “JAZZ” across the chest in blue-and-purple stitching on white tackle twill and black-and-green background. “MALONE” appears across the back of the jersey in white tackle twill, with his number “32” on the front and reverse sides in white on copper-and-green tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a Champion manufacturer’s tag, size 52. To the left is an additional stitched Champion tag that reads “DESIGNED & TAILORED BY CHAMPION EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE UTAH JAZZ,” “1997-98” and “BODY LENGTH +3.” LOA from noted sports jersey expert Dave Miedema.
