Winny is one of only 28 members in baseball's illustrious 3,000 hit club. A first-ballot Hall of Famer, the 12-time All-Star used this bat during the 1983 season in which he hit .283 with 32 homers. The ’83 season was also famous for his killing a seagull with a thrown ball during pre-game warm-ups in Toronto. The Rawlings DW20 bat shows moderate use and is un-cracked. Winfield’s number “31” is found on the knob end and he has signed the barrel in gold ink. Letter of Authenticity 1B08971 from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a GU 8.
