Harold Baines was one of the best hitters of his era and the first “full-time” Designated Hitter. After being the first overall draft pick in 1977, Baines went on rack up 2,866 hits, 488 doubles, 384 home runs and 1,628 RBIs. This remarkable group collects five game used bats covering the future Hall of Famers entire career. The earliest of the lot is a 1980-83 Louisville Slugger M110 that shows heavy use including a cracked handle. The 1996-97 Hoosier HB135 bat shows moderate use and has a cracked handle that has been secured. Baines’ number “3” is on the knob end and he has signed the barrel in silver ink.
