Reds Hall of Famer Barry Larkin used this Louisville Slugger during his 1995 as he clubbed his way to the National League Most Valuable Player Award. Larkin’s Louisville Slugger I13 model bat displays heavy use with a cracked handle. The barrel shows several ball marks with stich impressions with white leather ball scuffs. Cleat marks can be seen on the barrel as well as blue and red bat rack paint streaks. The impression of a weighted batting donut is visible and the handle has been taped with a criss-cross pattern to enhance Larkin’s grip. A moderate coat of pine tar still coats the handle and his number “11” is hand written in silver on the knob end. Larkin has signed the barrel in contrasting silver pen, making this a great gamer from the Reds superstar. Letter of Authenticity 1B09017 from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a GU 8.5.
