Moss made the Hurricanes squad as a walk-on and by his third game earned himself a scholarship. By the time he donned this lid his senior year he owned the university's record for most receiving yards (2,546 yards), was a first-team All-American and a well-earned a reputation as the greatest player in the University of Miami's history. The white helmet has the U of M orange and green colors stripe down the center and the "U" icon sticker on each side. Moss has signed the right side of the helmet in blue Sharpie adding his number "6". The back features Moss' number "6" sticker opposite the NCAA decal. Heavy game use is evident with plenty of dings and scuff marks visible. The face mask and chin strap are all intact showing much game use and the inner pad are present showing sweat staining. The front clips have "97" and "98" stamped on them and the chin strap has "1998" in black stamping. As good a college gamer as you can get!
