Yankees Captain Derek Jeter achieved two milestone achievements at Yankee Stadium. On June 29, 2012 he moved past Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. into 13th place on the all-time hit list after knocking a stand-up double off Chicago White Sox starter, Jose Quintana in the top of the first inning for hit number 3,185 in his 2,500th career game. Jeter finished his trip around the bases and stepped on this MLB Authentic (EK090806) home plate when the next Yankees batter Curtis Granderson knocked a home run. This weathered and worn Schutt Hollywood Bases home plate looks like it has seen plenty of action was at the Stadium during the week of June 25, 2012-July 1, 2012 during which time it was crossed six times by Jeter and comes with Yankee-Steiner Collectibles LOA #186931.
Game Used Yankee Stadium Home Plate from Derek Jeter’s 2,500th Game (MLB Authenticated)
