In his six Pro Bowl seasons, Jason Taylor was one of the most respected and feared defensive players in the NFL. This white Miami Dolphins jersey was worn by Taylor in a 20-13 loss to the Buffalo Bills on October 17, 2004. It sports the familiar number 99 in 3-d aqua tackle twill numbering on chest, back and shoulders, with orange trim and black shadow. The script “Dolphins” logo is just below the “NFL Equipment” crest which rests at the vee in the collar. “TAYLOR” is sewn onto a white nameplate above the number on back in aqua with orange trim. The sleeves are elasticized for tight fit around shoulder pads, and a white “04-46” tag is sewn into the inside collar. Perhaps most significantly, the item appropriately displays the rigors of an NFL game, with dirt and sweat stains as well as various markings throughout. Includes numbered certificate and LOA from MeiGray Group, as well as a photograph from that game showing Taylor laying hands on helpless Bills quarterback Drew Bledsoe.
