Known as the “Demon of Screamin,” Steven Tyler celebrated as the frontman of the world-renown rock band Aerosmith. During his high-energy performances, he typically dresses in bright, colorful outfits with his trademark scarves hanging from his microphone stand. Despite personal issues that affected Aeorsmith’s popularity in the late 1970’s and 1980’s, Tyler has remained a relevant rock icon through the years and has ventured into other areas including guest appearances on other artists' music, film and TV roles. He has appeared as a judge on the enormously popular American Idol, authored a bestselling book and has done solo work that has included a Top 40 hit single in 2011. Tyler is included among Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers and was ranked 3rd on Hit Parader's Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Aerosmith in 2001.
