“Josie and the Pussycats, long tails and ears for hats….” If you were a youth in the 1970s, you probably remember that theme song introduction on Saturday mornings. The Josie and the Pussycats animated television series was based upon the Archie Comics comic book series of the same name. It was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and had a national Saturday morning TV run for six years on three networks.
This colorful 8x10 photo in classic 1970s style projects the cast of characters in the original animation production. It was also been signed by some of the character voice actors as well as production legends Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera. It also comes with a full page LOA from James Spence authentication that notes the key signatures being “B. Hanna/J. Barbera/D. Messick/J. Waldo.”
