Harrison Ford made ends meet as a carpenter in the late 1970's while struggling to break through as an actor. The secondary career would pay off for Ford, who was asked to read some lines by George Lucas for a role in Star Wars while constructing a studio doorway. The rest is history, as Ford went on to land a defining role in the science fiction series as Han Solo --- a part that jumpstarted his path to stardom in the entertainment industry. Ford signed this 40x27-inch one sheet from “Them Empire Strikes Back” in bold, black sharpie near an image of him clutching Princess Leia, played by Carrie Fisher. The color poster exhibits some signs of distress --- mainly creasing around the 1-inch white border --- but is in otherwise ideal condition with no tears. The signed one sheet comes with a JSA LOA, certification number “Y60155.”
