It looks like someone took a bite out of the bill of this Yasiel Puig MLB Authentic (EK 869685) Los Angeles Dodgers batting helmet, which may have been caused by Puig slamming it in anger after one of his two strikeouts in the lopsided 9-0 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals in the Game Six finale of the 2013 NLCS. Puig was 0-3 in the game in which Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw took the loss after being tagged for ten hits and seven runs in four innings. This size 7 3/8 Dodger blue batting helmet has interlocking LA logo decal on the crown and Puig’s number 66 applied with a pair of white decal stickers on the back above an MLB 2013 Post Season logo sticker. The ventilated helmet also has a white dot sticker on top and shows plenty of use with several scuffs and the aforementioned chip on left bill near the ear flap. MLB Authentic/Majestic and Rawling’s manufacturers’ labels are on the padded inner headband and a Rawlings 100 MPH sticker is on the pad at the top of the crown. Rawling’s S100 Pro Comp logo is embossed on the padding in the back of the helmet and a warning sticker is at the front.
