Presented is July 24, 1959 Plaza Toros de Valencia Sombra (shade) ticket stub once owned by revered author Ernest Hemingway. Presumably used as a source for The Dangerous Summer printed in Life Magazine in 1960, this ticket was part of the Hemingway "Finca La Vigia" collection from his Cuban property deeded to Roberto Herrera Sotolongo after Hemingway's death in 1961. The 6"x3" stub displays a punch mark and torn right edge - both incurred upon entrance to the bullfight. LOA from University Archives.
