Presented is an exquisite partly printed shipping Bill of Laden that includes the signature of John Hancock. The 9" by 4-1/2" document is crisp and clean with the Hancock autograph neatly penned in the upper right corner. Hancock is noted for his ornate signature - as seen on the Declaration of Independence, but the signature Hancock used to sign the magnitude of shipping documents is less ornate. This August 26, 1767 document has been filled out by Hancock and has been beautifully matted and framed with an image of Hancock to an overall size of 21-1/2" by 13-1/2" (minor scratches are present on the gold frame).
