Jose Altuve turned in a season to remember in 2014, hitting .341 to become the American League batting champion. The Houston Astros second baseman also connected on an AL-best 225 hits and swiped a league-leading 56 bases. It all added up to a second All-Star Game appearance for Altuve, who wore these signed size 9 Nike Lunar Vapor cleats in the Midsummer Classic. Altuve signed the top of both cleats in bold, black sharpie along with the inscriptions “Game Used 2014 All Star Game,” “2014 Batting Champ” and “.341 Avg 225 Hits.” The eye-catching neon orange and yellow cleats show moderate signs of game use, including scuffing on the toes and dirt still trapped in the metal spikes on the bottom of the shoes. Each shoe is backed by PSA/DNA (X48447, X48448) and MLB Authentication (HZ 557747, HZ 557748).
