After leading the American League with a whopping .341 batting average, 225 hits and 56 stolen bases, the little man they call “Gigante” is beginning to look like a perennial All-Star. Jose Altuve wore this MLB Authentic (HZ 557746) white mesh, button-down Houston Astros home jersey while representing the American League at the 2014 All-Star Game on July 15, at Target Field in Minnesota. Astros and Altuve’s number 27 are stitched in navy blue and orange tackle twill across the front. Along with a MLB Authentic/Majestic size-44 manufacturer’s label sticker that is on the front left tail with a strip tag sticker “44 S8 ‘14” just below and Cool Base label at the seam. Houston Astros logo patch is on the left sleeve and an MLB All-Star Game logo patch is on the right with orange piping ringing the sleeves and running along the collar and button lines. Altuve’s name and number 27 are stitched in navy blue and orange tackle twill on the back, and two gold stars are stitched on either side of the navy, white and orange MLB logo on the back of the collar. Altuve signed the number 7 in bright silver sharpie with a “27” inscription and added “Game Used 2014” “All-Star Game” and “”2014 Batting Champ .341 Avg. 225 Hits) inscriptions on the number 2. Jersey shows all-star game wear with a small dirt stain on the front left shoulder and by the number on the back. Comes with PSA/DNA certification #X48459.
