Sparky Lyle spent seven seasons in the Bronx from 1972 – 1978 compiling a 57-20 record with an ERA of 2.41. Lyle wore these New York Yankees pinstripe pants during the 1976 season in which he was an all-star and helped the Yankees to the American League Championship. These Wilson pants measure at a 36 waist size and a 25 inseam. A patch with “Lyle 28 76 / 25” is sewn on the back inside waist indicating his name, team number, and year. These pants show considerable game use and there is a rip on the rear-end seam. These pants were also passed down to the minors and assigned to Steve Taylor, who played for Tacoma, the AAA affiliate of the Yankees in 1978. These pants come with a full LOA from noted game used expert Dave Miedema.
