The predominant power hitter of his era, 195-lb, 6’2” Mike Schmidt led the National league in home runs eight times in 13 years from 1974-1986 capturing the NL MVP award in 1980, 1981 and 1986.
This Adirondack model MS20 Mike Schmidt professional model bat is cracked at the handle and displays evidence of heavy use with a smattering of ball marks, stitch impressions and cleat marks prevalent on the bat’s barrel and a moderate coat of pine tar around the label. Model number (MS20), order number (206) and year number (2) for labeling period 1982, are stamped into the knob and Schmidt’s number “20” is also written on the knob in black marker. The remnants of a fading autograph and inscription in green ink are visible but not completely legible between the label and barrel branding. Bat comes with PSA/DNA LOA certification #1B04799.
