Beautiful 5 ½”x10” original photograph depicting the wreckage of the historic Knute Rockne plane crash in 1931. Photo shows normal wear, with some light creases, none of which affects the photo in any way. Some pencil writing on the reverse as well as an April 7, 1931 date stamp. Historic image detailing the tragic death of a true football icon. Letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA who have authenticated this as a type 1 photo.
