Offered is an iconic piece of baseball history featuring the signature of New York Yankees legend and Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig. “The Iron Horse” signed this weathered ONL Spalding baseball dating back over 80 years in strong blue/green ink on piece’s south panel. Also appearing on the baseball is the signature of the game’s most identifiable player, Babe Ruth, though his last name has been traced over by an unidentified subject. A third signature is visible on the baseball, however the name is unconfirmed. Still, the quality of the Gehrig signature carries the item, in addition to knowing that Ruth also originally penned the piece at one point. The multi-signed baseball is backed with a PSA/DNA LOA, certification number “W06371.”
