Brought in by the Los Angeles Dodgers to help the franchise win a World Series, shortstop Hanley Ramirez was overly productive in the team’s NLDS loss to the St. Louis Cardinals in 2014. Ramirez hit .429 with a pair of RBI in the series to do his part. Ramirez wore this game-used grey button-down Dodgers jersey in a Game 4 loss to St. Louis on Oct. 7. It would be the last time Ramirez wore a Los Angeles jersey, as he signed with Boston in the offseason. The grey button-down jersey features “Los Angeles” scripted across the chest in Dodger blue tackle twill above Ramirez’s number “13,” in red tackle twill. “RAMIREZ” appears across the back of the jersey above “13,” both in Dodger blue tackle twill. An “LA” logo patch is stitched on the left sleeve, while the right sleeve boasts a “POSTSEASON 14” patch. The front tail of the jersey features a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s tag, size 48. The inside collar of the jersey also holds a Majestic manufacturer’s tag that features a scan bar box with “#13 RAMIREZ 48” and “2014” printed over two lines. The jersey shows heavy evidence of game use, including moderate dirt staining across most of the front and parts of the back. The game-used jersey is certified by MLB Authentication, verification number “HZ 515757.”
