Jesus Montero was given his first real shot to prove he’s a Major-League talent in 2012 and delivered for the Seattle Mariners, hitting a respectable .260 with 15 home runs and 62 RBI in 135 games. Montero sported this grey game-used Seattle Mariners button-down road jersey in an 8-7 loss to the Royals on July 18, 2012. Montero went 2-for-5 in the contest and drove in a pair of runs. The jersey features “SEATTLE” across the chest in navy blue on teal-and-white tackle twill. “MONTERO” appears across the back of the jersey with his number “63” below, both in navy-on-teal tackle twill. The right sleeve of the jersey features a commemorative Seattle Mariners 35-year anniversary (1977-2012) patch, while the left sleeve holds a standard Mariners team logo patch. The front tail of the jersey boasts a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s tag with size 48. Below a stitched white tag that reads “PROPERTY OF SEATTLE MARINERS 2012.” MLB Authenticated, verification number “EK 232309.”
