The winner of five World Series titles and nine pennants as manager of the Philadelphia Athletics, Connie Mack forever holds a place in baseball history in the City of Brotherly Love. With players like Hall of Fame outfielder Jimmie Foxx on his side, it’s no wonder Philadelphia achieved the success it did --- particularly in the late 1920s and early 1930s. The duo of Mack and Foxx, both enshrined in Cooperstown, signed this 1920-25 era ONL Spalding baseball in black fountain pen ink along with Bob Johnson and Bullet Joe Bush, two other members of the Athletics club. The baseball, though smokey in color, is in remarkable shape for its age and the signatures are vivid in presentation. The multi-signed baseball is accompanied by both JSA and PSA/DNA letters of authenticity.
