Despite taking the 1-0 loss to their cross-town rivals, Mets starter Jacob deGrom laid the foundation for his Rookie of the Year award by holding the Yankees to one run in seven innings in his Major League debut. deGrom finished the season going 9-6 with a 2.60 ERA for the Mets. This baseball was used during the Subway Series game vs. the Yankees and shows considerable game use with scuff marks and dirt marks. The ball was signed and inscribed by deGrom “MLB DEBUT 5-15-14 GAME USED” and has been MLB Authenticated (EK 702679) and deGrom’s signature comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (R30819).
