Barry Bonds, Major League Baseball’s embattled home run king, signed this flame-burned finish Louisville Slugger H238 model bat from his 1989 season with the Pirates in bold, black sharpie on the barrel. Bonds, the owner of 762 career homers, sent 19 baseballs over the fence in the ’89 season. Bonds’ number “24” appears on the knob of the bat handwritten in bold, black sharpie. The 33 5/8-inch, 31.6-ounce bat show moderate signs of game use, including strong ball impressions and several spike marks. The game-used bat received a 8/10 grade from PSA/DNA, certification number “1B08634,” while the signature is verified with a JSA LOA, certification number “Y58468.”
