Before Hall of Famer Joe Montana led the San Francisco 49ers to four Super Bowl titles in his storied career, Montana led the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to a National Championship in 1977 and a strong 1978 season culminating in the “Chicken Soup” Cotton Bowl game against Houston in which the Irish erased a 34-12 fourth quarter deficit. Montana had spent most of the game battling hypothermia and didn’t re-enter the game until there was 7:37 left after missing the entire second half up until that point.

Montana has signed his name on his “3” he wore for Notre Dame on each of these 10 dark green heavy mesh Irish jerseys. “MONTANA” is sewn on in yellow tackle twill on a matching green nameplate on the upper back and “3” is also sewn on in the front and each of the shoulders. Montana’s signature on each jersey comes with a Joe Montana Hologram.
