New Jersey based artist Billy Lopa has put brush to canvas to create vivid imagery of sports figures, Hollywood stars, and super heroes and villains. This time, Lopa tackles one of the most recognizable crests in American culture. This is a one of a kind mixed media original on canvas. This 30x40” acrylic painting on canvas may look obscure at first, but the logo of Superman clearly emerges from the array of dazzling color. One need look no further than the iconic “S” crest to envision The Man of Steel, swooping down to save Metropolis at his trademark “Faster than a bullet” best. This item is marked 1/1 in the bottom left corner, and signed by the artist in red on the bottom right.
