Wow!, this much coveted boxing artifact is a replica World Boxing Council (WBC) title belt that has been signed more than fifty champion boxers including legends such as: Muhammad Ali, Oscar De La Hoya, Joe Frazier, Archie Moore, Lennox Lewis, Alexis Arguello, Floyd Patterson, Larry Holmes, Roberto Duran, Ken Norton, Emile Griffith, Sugar Ray Leonard, Jose Torres, Jake LaMotta, Bob Foster, Gene Fullmer, Willie Pep, Carmen Basilio, Buster Mathis, Carlos Ortiz, Mike Spinks, and Joey Maxim. Boxing historian/ writer Hank Kaplan and famous referee Arthur Mercante have signed this incredible belt as well. The belt is adorned with a center gold color metal shield that features the flags of the original 12 member-nations that founded the WBC as a sanctioning organization in 1963, surrounding the raised cast figure of a boxer with his arm raised in victory – a pose well-known to the 50 plus champs that have signed it. Linked by chain to either side of this shield is a medallion of Heavyweight Champion Joe Louis on the left and Muhammad Ali on the right. Ali, The Greatest" athlete of the 20th Century is of course the most famed fighter to have been recognized by the WBC as World Champion.
