This is a Spalding Official New York Knicks Game Used Basketball used in a game played at Madison Square Garden during the 2011-12 basketball season. The leather basketball is stamped with a logo “NBA authentic” and “Knicks 2011-12” and is notated “MSG” by hand in black. This Knicks season was noted for the surge in popularity of shooting guard Jeremy Lin who was undrafted out of Harvard University but gained fame playing during a seven-game Knicks winning streak as the first American of Chinese/ Taiwanese descent to play in the NBA. Authentic game used basketballs are far scarcer than game used balls from other sports such as baseball. Comes with Steiner Sticker 188921.
