This prestigious medallion was presented to famed Russian-born American tennis star Anna Kournikova when she rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on March 25, 2009. Housed in its original presentation box embossed “NYSE,” the hefty 3” diameter medallion is addressed “Anna Kournikova, Boys & Girls Club of America, Opening Bell Ceremony, March 25, 2009,” beneath a tussling Bull & Bear. An illustration of the Exchange Building with the words “The New York Stock Exchange 1792” adorns the reverse side. A few youngsters from the Boys & Girls Club appeared with Kournikova who continues as an Ambassador for other programs caring for children.
