What is arguably considered one of the greatest World Series of all-time, the Arizona Diamondbacks rallied to beat the New York Yankees in their last at-bat of game seven, all within the back drop of the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
This base was used 15x15 base was used during this historic series in Game 3 at Yankee Stadium. The “WORLD SERIES 2001” logo is painted on the center of the base and on each of the sides are 1x2 IN panels of the Yankees logo, Diamondbacks logo and two MLB logos. The base shows significant game use and has numerous dirt marks. This item has been MLB Authenticated (GT 043008) and has a Steiner Sports Hologram.
