This is an original edition of Astronaut Neil Armstrong's Blume High School yearbook from his sophomore year, 1945. Armstrong, commander of Apollo 11, the first manned lunar landing mission, was the first man to land a craft on the Moon and the first man to step on its surface. Armstrong is pictured three times in this yearbook, in the Glee Club, Orchestra, and in his class photo.
