Few musical artists rival the legacy left behind by “The Man in Black.” The famed singer of hits like Ring of Fire and I Walk the Line, Johnny Cash’s work will live on through the generations thanks to a universal message that people from all walks of life can relate to. Cash signed the cover of this 1959 London Records release of his first ever album “With His Hot And Blue Guitar” in the top-right corner in blue ballpoint ink. The UK-version cover depicts Cash, of course decked out in all black, sitting on a stool with a cigarette in hand. The vinyl is housed in its original paper sleeve inside the cover. The back side of the album cover includes a track listing and short bio on Cash. An unassociated golden sticker label reads “JIM SMITH” with “LP No. 56 JDS ‘68” handwritten in faded black marker both in the top-left corner. A thorough examination of the album cover reveals several crease marks along the right side of the glossy front, though Cash’s prominent signature remains unaffected. The signed Cash album cover comes with a JSA LOA, certification number “Y41528.”
