The 1984 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXIII Olympiad, was an international multi-sport event held in Los Angeles, California, in the United States. Team USA Baseball showcased the best amateur players from around the country. America’s national pastime has been part of the Olympic Games, on and off since 1904 however, in the sport’s six previous appearances the format consisted of one game exhibitions in make shift parks. Due to it being a demonstration sport no official medals were awarded, Team USA finished second to Team Japan losing in the final round 6-3. This Team USA Olympic Rawlings baseball is signed by twenty one players as well as the teams manager. There are several notable autographs including Hall of Fame Short Stop Barry Larkin, six time All-Star First Baseman Will Clark, and All-Star Catcher B.J. Surhoff. This baseball comes with a COA from The Score Board, Inc and a PSA/DNA LOA.
